Ingredients
- 1 pound beef, inexpensive cut
- 2 cups diced raw potatoes
- 1 cup carrots, cut in cubes
- 1 cup onions
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- Cook meat slowly in water to cover. When tender allow it to cool and cut into small pieces. Add vegetables and seasonings.
- Place in a baking dish, cover with a gravy made by thickening the broth slightly with flour. Bake in moderate oven or fireless cooker. Bake in the oven for 2 hours at 325 degrees.
