Veal and Ham Pie

Ingredients
- 1 pound cooked veal
- 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- Pepper and salt to taste
- 1/4 pound boiled ham
- 1 cup cold water
- 1/2 teaspoon minced lemon peel

Instructions
- Cut veal in very small pieces, put a layer in a pie dish, sprinkle with seasonings, and put in a layer of thinly sliced ham. Repeat until all of the meat is used and add water. Cover with a rich pastry and brush over with beaten egg. Bake in a moderately hot oven in the oven for 1 hour at 375 degrees. Serve either hot or cold.
