Ingredients
- 1 pound Hamburg steak
- Salt and pepper
- 1 pint highly seasoned tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
- Baking powder biscuit dough
- Tiny carrots (cooked)
- Tiny onions (cooked)
Instructions
- Press the steak flat in a pan. Pan broil, add salt and pepper, and run through meat chopper. Add tomato sauce and parsley, and serve hot. Roll biscuit dough one-half inch thick, cut in rounds, brush with melted butter, and bake in pairs in a hot oven. Break apart, lay lower halves on a platter, spread with steak mixture, and replace tops. Garnish with mounds of carrots and onions.
