Scalloped Carrots

Ingredients
- 3 cups thinly sliced carrots
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 3 minced green peppers
- 1 1/2 cups white sauce
- 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon butter (melted)
Instructions
- Steam or boil the carrots and onions until both are tender. Grease a baking dish, put in a layer of each vegetable. Continue in this way until the vegetables are all used, then pour in the white sauce. Cover with the crumbs, which have been mixed with the melted butter, and bake until brown in a moderate oven in the oven for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Servings, 6.
