Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked prune pulp
- 1/4 cup prune juice
- 1/2 cup bread or cracker crumbs
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup nut meats (chopped)
- 2 egg whites
Instructions
- Mix pulp, juice and crumbs and stir well. Add sugar and vanilla. Stir again, adding nuts. Beat egg whites and fold into mixture. Pour into buttered dish and set it in pan of water. Bake in a moderate oven until firm in the oven for 30 minutes at 325 degrees and serve with whipped cream.
