Pineapple Cake

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter or margarine
• 1 cup sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/8 teaspoon soda
• 1 cup grated pineapple

Instructions

1. 1Cream shortening, add sugar gradually, and the eggs well beaten. Mix and sift dry ingredients, and add to first mixture alternately with pineapple. Bake in a moderate oven for 40 minutes at 325 degrees.
