Orange Sponge Cake

Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- Grated rind of one orange
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Beat whites of eggs until stiff, then add the yolks one at a time, beating after each addition. Add the sugar, grated orange rind and orange juice. Fold in the flour mixed and sifted with baking powder and salt and bake in a shallow pan in a moderate oven for 40 minutes at 325 degrees. Cut in fancy shapes.
