Ingredients
- 1 cup grated cocoanut
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
Instructions
- Cook cocoanut, sugar, water, salt, and cornstarch for forty-five minutes in double boiler. Add lemon juice and spread while hot between layers of cake.
