Hamburg Steak Savory

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 pounds round steak
• 1 slice salt pork
• Salt and pepper
• 6 slices bacon
• 1 cup tomato
• Parsley

Instructions

1. 1Put steak and salt pork through grinder and season. Form into flat cakes and dip in flour. Fry very thin slices of bacon until curled and crisp; remove to a platter and keep hot. In the fat brown the steak balls and remove to platter. Pour tomato into frying-pan, stir to blend, and when hot pour over steak balls. Garnish with bacon curls and parsley.
