Date Hard Sauce

Ingredients

• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
• 1/8 cup cream
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 cup chopped dates
• Pinch salt

Instructions

1. 1Cream butter and beat in sugar gradually, adding cream as mixture gets stiff. Add vanilla, dates, and pinch of salt, and if too stiff add more cream. Serve as a filling, frosting, or sauce.
