Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup condensed milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup grated cocoanut
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions
- Mix cornstarch with a little cold water. Add rest of water, milk, and salt. Cook in double boiler until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Add cocoanut, eggs slightly beaten, and vanilla. Pour into plate lined with pastry and bake in a moderately hot oven until firm in the oven for 30 minutes at 400 degrees 5 minutes, 350 degrees 25 minutes.
