Chops à la Reine

Ingredients
- 2 onions
- 1 1/2 cups drippings or bacon fat
- 1 1/2 pounds veal chops or cutlets
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 pint milk
- Salt, pepper
Instructions
- Chop onion and put into a frying-pan with drippings and cook until onions are yellow. Add meat, partially cook it, and add pulp of two tomatoes, or three-fourths cup of canned tomato, the milk, and salt and pepper to taste. Cook about ten minutes longer, remove the meat, and finish cooking sauce until thick. Season highly and serve.
