Baked French Toast

Ingredients

• 3 cups milk
• 2 eggs
• 1/8 teaspoon salt
• 6 slices stale bread, cut rather thick

Instructions

1. 1Beat milk, eggs, and salt together. Dip each slice of bread in mixture and place in a greased baking dish. Pour the remaining custard mixture over the bread. Bake in a moderate oven until lightly browned on top. Dot with bits of butter and serve hot.
