Ingredients
- 1 quart beans
- 1/2 pound bacon
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- 1/4 cup brown sugar or molasses
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Soak beans overnight. Parboil with one-half teaspoon soda. Drain and rinse. Put them with other ingredients in bean pot. Bake in a moderate oven in the oven for 6 to 8 hours at 300 degrees. Servings, 8.
