Snow Puffs

Ingredients

• 3 tablespoons cornstarch
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/8 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 cup cold water
• 2 cups hot milk
• 1/4 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

1. 1Mix cornstarch, sugar and salt, and add the cold water. When this is smooth, pour into hot milk and cook until it thickens. Cool slightly and add flavoring. Pour into a large mold or small individual molds and set aside until cool. Turn out of molds and surround with Chocolate Sauce (see page 162).
