Ingredients
- 4 cups flour
- 8 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Instructions
- Sift dry ingredients, add egg well beaten, and milk to make soft dough like biscuit dough.
- Add raisins and nuts sprinkled with flour.
- Turn into well-greased round tins. Let rise fifteen minutes and bake in a moderate oven for 1 hour at 325 degrees.
