Beat egg slightly and mix mustard with it. Add to the first mixture and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Add remaining seasonings and the butter. Put in scallop shells or ramekins, cover with buttered crumbs, and bake in a hot oven for 10 minutes at 400 degrees until crumbs are brown.
