Add milk. Mix and sift flour, baking powder and salt and add to first mixture. Add nut meats, cherries cut in pieces, cocoanut thoroughly drained, and flavoring. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased baking sheets and bake until delicately browned in a moderate oven for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
