Custard Sauce No. 1

Ingredients

• 3 egg yolks
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• Pinch salt
• 1 1/2 cups hot milk
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

1. 1Beat egg yolks slightly, add sugar and salt. Pour on hot milk and cook in double boiler stirring constantly, until thickened. Cool and add vanilla.
