Custard Sauce No. 1
Ingredients
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Pinch salt
- 1 1/2 cups hot milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Beat egg yolks slightly, add sugar and salt. Pour on hot milk and cook in double boiler stirring constantly, until thickened. Cool and add vanilla.
