Custard Filling

Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Speck salt
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Heat milk. Cream butter, mix with flour, and add milk. Cook ten minutes. Add sugar, salt, and slightly beaten egg. Cook in double boiler until thick. Cool, and add vanilla.
