Cocoanut Meringues

Ingredients

• 2 egg whites
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 cup dates, cut in small pieces
• 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
• 1/4 cup cocoanut
• 1 teaspoon orange extract

Instructions

1. 1Beat egg whites stiff and beat sugar into them. Fold in other ingredients.
2. 2Drop from teaspoon on greased tin. Bake in a moderate oven, in the oven for 30 minutes at 300 degrees.
