Chocolate Sponge Drops

Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Beat whites of eggs until stiff, then beat in sugar gradually.
- Beat egg yolks until thick and add to first mixture.
- Sift together flour, cocoa, and salt, and fold into first mixture. Add vanilla.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls on a greased baking sheet. Decorate with nut meats or a bit of candied fruit. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 325 degrees.
