Chestnut Stuffing for Turkey

Ingredients

• 1 quart chestnuts
• 2 cups bread or cracker crumbs
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 1/4 teaspoon pepper
• 2 teaspoons chopped parsley
• 1/3 cup melted butter

Instructions

1. 1Shell chestnuts, pour boiling water over them and remove inner brown skin.
2. 2Boil in salted water or in stock till soft.
3. 3Mash fine and add the other ingredients.
