Ingredients
- 1/2 cup carrot
- 1/2 cup potato
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped suet
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1/3 cup chopped nuts
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
Instructions
- Put the raw carrots and potato through the food-chopper. Mix with rest of ingredients and steam two hours. Serve with Hard Sauce (see page 163). Servings, 6.
